Bills & Budgets
Put what you owe on a calendar, and measure what you meant to spend — both from the same ledger.
Create a bill
- On the Bills tab, tap + and name the bill — usually after its payee.
- Set the amount (or mark it as varying), the first due date, and how often it repeats: weekly, every two weeks, monthly, quarterly, every six months, yearly, or just once.
- Choose the account it’s paid from. A bill paid from an account you don’t track in Sundry can be marked Not Tracked Here.
The bills calendar
- A month calendar sits above the list, with each due day marked in its payee’s color.
- Tap a day to jump the list to it. Bills group themselves into Overdue, Upcoming, Due Later, and Settled.
Pay, skip, or archive
- Swipe a bill to pay it — paying posts a real transaction to the account, so balances and bills can never drift apart.
- Swipe to skip a cycle you’re not paying, or archive a bill that’s ended.
- Every payment stays linked to the transaction it created — open a bill’s payment history to trace any of them.
Automatic bills
- Mark a bill as paid automatically and Sundry logs it for you when you open the app after its due date — subscriptions stop needing you.
Tags
- Tag bills — streaming, utilities, insurance — and filter the calendar and list down to one tag when you need it.
Create a budget
- On the Budgets tab, tap +, set an amount, and pick the payees it covers.
- Choose the period — monthly, quarterly, or yearly — aligned to the calendar.
Read budget progress
- Each budget’s bar fills from transactions you’ve already recorded — there’s nothing separate to log, and every figure traces back to real entries.
- Use the month switcher at the top to flip back through past periods.
