Backups, data & widgets

Your data is a file you own — back it up, move it, bring statements in, and put Sundry on your Home Screen.

Automatic backups

  • Sundry writes a backup automatically once a day and keeps the last ten.
  • Turn on iCloud backup and your backups also live in your own private iCloud — tied to your Apple Account, never to any account with us.
  • A backup is a single readable file — export one anywhere, keep it wherever you like.
  • Find them in Settings → Manage Backups.

Restore or move to a new iPhone

  • On a new device, the fastest path is restoring straight from your iCloud backup.
  • Prefer a file? Export a backup from your old iPhone — share it to AirDrop, Files, or iCloud Drive.
  • Then choose Settings → Manage Backups → Import on the new device and pick the file.
  • Either way, everything comes back: accounts, transactions, bills, budgets, tags, payees, and their marks.

Apple Card import

  • In the Wallet app, export an Apple Card statement as CSV.
  • In Sundry, use Apple Card import to bring the transactions in. It’s flagged as an experimental feature — review the result before you rely on it.

Widgets

  • Five widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen: Account Balance, Next Bill Due, Upcoming Bills, Budget Progress, and Budgets.
  • Tap any widget and Sundry opens on exactly the screen it was showing.

Quick actions

  • Long-press the Sundry icon on your Home Screen to log an expense, income, or transfer without hunting for the right screen.

Search

  • The round Search tab looks across your entire ledger and every bill at once — payees, notes, amounts, all of it.
